Empower North County identified the need for an emergency food supply boost for families in the area and in partnership with the St. Louis Foodbank started a monthly food distribution program. The goal was to have folks drive through and pick up a miscellaneous box of food. During the pandemic the need heightened and Empower started a contactless drive through 'Mobile Market' once a week. The legacy of those efforts remains today with our drive through MONTHLY FOOD DISTRIBUTION program which takes place on the 4th Tuesday of each month. We depend entirely on what the St. Louis Foodbank provides, which can include meat, fresh produce, pasta, cookies, etc.
