The core of Empower Sports is coaching. All of our coaches are volunteers. Coaches have a massive impact on players, even beyond the soccer field. ​All coaches are required to have background checks and go through mandatory pre-season training - which includes one in-person session. Empower Soccer will provide training and practice curriculum.

IN ADDITION, if you are willing to coach, we allow coach's kids to play free (one child per coach). Note: we only have one lead coach and a maximum of two assistant coaches per team. Coach selection is based on the decision of the soccer director and is NOT automatic.

What we expect of volunteer coaches: 

• Background check

• Coach each game

• Be on time for all activities
